Since 2008, Oscar Lawalata Culture has collaborated with various partners to support artisan communities across Indonesia, particularly those involved in traditional textiles and handicrafts. Through activations such as fashion shows and exhibitions, Oscar Lawalata Culture introduces the work of these artisans to the public both in local and international markets with the hope that the local wisdom behind traditional crafts and indigenous textiles will be preserved, and that these regional products can gain wider recognition, thereby contributing to the growth of local economies.
